The GYZ20HL-C is an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery. Unlike conventional flooded lead-acid batteries, the electrolyte is absorbed into fiberglass mats, providing several advantages: Spill-resistant design Excellent vibration resistance Stable high-current output Lower self-discharge during storage These characteristics make AGM batteries an excellent choice for large touring motorcycles like the Honda Gold Wing. ⸻ What Does CCA 250A → 320A Mean? CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) measures a battery’s ability to deliver current during engine starting, especially in cold conditions. The current genuine GYZ20HL-C has a CCA rating of 320A, compared to 250A for the previous GYZ20L.
