Shakespeare Hour Live: José Saramago and BLINDNESS
In this special episode of Shakespeare Hour Live, Resident Dramaturg Dr. Drew Lichtenberg is joined by Pilar del Río, President of The José Saramago Foundation, and Prof. Ana Paula Arnaut, Professor of Contemporary Portuguese Literature at The University of Coimbra, to discuss Nobel Prize-winning novelist José Saramago and his 1995 novel BLINDNESS, which was adapted into STC's current production. BLINDNESS, the actor-less, immersive sound and light installation from @DonmarWarehouse, has been extended twice by popular demand and is now running through July 3.
