I'm fulfilling a big dream and making the journey from east to west, from Hesse to Santiago de Compostela, as a cycling pilgrim. I'm using the Eurovelo 3, the European Pilgrims' Cycle Route. On day 5, I'm going river biking in Belgium. The Belgian cycle routes of Eurovelo 3 run along the Meuse and join the Sambre near Namur. It's a lovely, relaxed ride, and I enjoy being on the road.
