This Month in Christian History: Today, Cody Crouch takes us through the life and works of Thomas Coram, the creator of the Foundling Hospital, an orphanage for children. This organization served many purposes. It was a hospital, school, orphanage, church, and much more for at risk and deserted kids. Coram's background of being a sailor didn't necessarily make him qualified to start an orphanage but Thomas saw a need and couldn't help but fill it.
