Today I came to Bendungan Hilir District in the center of Jakarta, Indonesia. There is a popular Padang restaurant here. This is my first time to eat authentic Padang cuisine (Masakan Padang) in Indonesia. I am very looking forward to it, but I encountered many challenges because of the meal that day. The staff was very busy, there was no menu, and the language communication was not smooth. This first experience can only be said to be at a loss ~ but it was a very interesting experience! Later I learned that there are two ways to serve Padang cuisine: 1.You must first know the name of the dish or go to the window and point out the dish you want to eat. 2. The waiter will bring a lot of dishes to the table, and you only get paid if you eat them. (But the dishes served may not be what you want to eat) So you must know the special ordering method of Badong Restaurant!
