His modesty, quiet presence, and the precision of every word he speaks never cease to amaze me. I could even say that I envy those qualities a little. In Evgeny Dranik’s work, I don’t see an attempt to imitate anyone—I see an entire universe of his own. Perhaps inspired by Salvador Dalí, yet more likely creating his own form of post-surrealism. His works are filled with subtle self-irony, philosophical depth, human warmth, and a remarkable ability to find light even within the darkest shadows, as if gently embracing them with hope. His art invites us to think, to feel, to smile, and to discover new meanings every time we encounter it.
