Before the victim was found in such a dire condition, her family attempted to communicate with YTR but had difficulty. The limited communication led the family to post a post on Instagram about the victim's disappearance, which went viral. However, the victim asked the family to delete the post via text message. The family only learned of the victim's whereabouts after receiving a message from someone via WhatsApp. The message stated that the victim was in the emergency room at Hasan Sadikin Hospital in Bandung (RSHS) due to an accident on Wednesday (June 10, 2026). The family rushed to the hospital and met the victim. To their shock, they found YTR with severe injuries all over her body. YTR is now permanently blind in both eyes due to infection. YTR is suspected of being tortured while living with her boyfriend in their boarding house in the Cileunyi area. In addition to the torture, several of the victim's valuables were reportedly lost, resulting in losses of tens of millions of rupiah. The family then reported YTR's case to the West Java Regional Police for further action. YTR's condition is currently improving after undergoing surgery and medical treatment.
