Cornish Traction Preservation Club Rally 2026

The first steam rally that starts off the rally season here in Cornwall is one of my favourites each year. The Cornish Traction Preservation Club Rally held near Tredinnick is one of those steam rallies that's organised by fellow steam engine owners for steam engine owners. The rally always boasts a large attendance across all exhibitor sections and due to its location the vast majority of attending road steam live within a 10 mile radios of the site. This year was no different and likewise the rally was well attended by the paying public and thanks to a dry and sunny weekend the atmosphere around the site was one of joy and excitement. Having once again being fortunate to crew for Burrell no. 3159 "The Gladiator" I was unable to walk around and film as much as I would've liked, but I feel this video is good enough to show the road steam activities over the weekend.
