The Captain's bag is a bit smaller than the standard Bow Bag, and the geometry is optimized to fit under your legs as a lap bag. The zipper runs parallel to your legs, allowing you to easily access the bag even when you are still in the thigh straps. The zipper can be oriented to open at either end. A gatekeeper hook secures it directly at the zipper to many Alpacka inflatable seats, allowing it to open and close effortlessly. An optional wraparound floor strap secures the bag to the inflatable floor in boats with a full length floor like the Alpacka Mage and Valkyrie. This keeps the bag from flopping out of the boat in the case of a swim or a portage.
