Representing Pematangsiantar Mayor Wesly Silalahi, the Chairperson of the Pematangsiantar City Regional Handicraft Council (Dekranasda), Mrs. Liswati Wesly Silalahi, along with Muhammad Hamdani Lubis, Expert Staff for Development, opened the Siantar Expo 2026 MSME Expo on Jalan Merdeka, Pematangsiantar City. This event demonstrates the Pematangsiantar City Government's commitment to promoting MSME advancement. As the backbone of the regional economy, employing approximately 70 percent of the workforce, MSMEs are expected to grow further through support in the form of capital, training, business legality assistance, promotions, and digitalization. Through the Siantar Expo 2026, the public is also encouraged to increasingly love and use local products as a form of support for MSMEs.
