This video shows the creation of a tradtional touareg silver ring by a traditional silver-smith in Timbuktu, Mali / West-Africa. It follows the steps of creation from the retrieval of silver coins as a base material over the melting process to casting, forging and engraving. The work has been done by Abou Bakrine, a traditional, young touareg silver-smith.
