20ft Tide Surge Causes TIDAL BORE in Severn River, England

The Severn River Tidal Bore is one of the novelty wonders of the world. Multiple times a year the high tide charges in from the ocean and with a 9 meter swing it has enough momentum & strength to create a surfable wave at the front of the tide. There's a few Severn locals who have been riding this dreamer since the 1980's. The thing about a tidal wave is that it takes 6 hours, on any given day, for the tide to come in or go out or for the tide to switch. That means, technically, this wave is pushing up the river for 6 hours. All of this equates to very long rides & a lot of surfing. Absolutely above the moon to share this amazing adventure with you & to keep following my dreams of novelty waves & surfing every country in the world.
