The mighty Boss re-enters the boost market in a big way Welcome to the show and welcome to Effector Du Jour. These are Short videos that are as to-the-point as That Pedal Show is ever likely to get. The Boss BP-1w Booster Preamp was launched not so long ago (I’m typing this in February 2024) and seems to have gone down really well for its ability to offer three distinct flavours of boosty goodness. Today I’ve got it hitting a fairly cooking Fender ’65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue - volume set between 4.5 and 7 - to see what we can learn. I’ve also included the ever popular and much loved Exotic EP Booster (in standard dip switch settings) for a little bit of context.
