Procedure: The 800km consumption test consists of three sections: 130km city and country roads 335km highway at 130km/h 335km highway at 160km/h for electric cars or full throttle for combustion engine vehicles (ALWAYS within the speed limit and considering weather and traffic conditions) Refueling: Combustion engine vehicles are always filled to capacity After the first click of the fuel pump nozzle, another click is added to ensure the vehicles are fully refueled after each lap A 10-second pause is observed between the two clicks to allow the fuel in the tank to settle Charging: Electric cars start each lap with 80% state of charge (SOC) to simulate long-distance driving after the first charging stop and to determine a realistic 80% to 10% range.
