Please Don't Go - Charles/Erik (XMFC)

They still meet the way the did in the movie, but in my head, I still imagine that while they were at the mansion, Charles was still studying mutants and Erik would just hang over his shoulder and talk to Charles while he was doing work. This is honestly killing me. I don't think my heart is still together after watching this movie so many times, and editing it over and over. So much gay in this film, I don't even know where to start. It just hurts that they did everything to protect and be there for each other (Erik throwing himself on Charles when the craft began to tip, Charles jumping in the water to save Erik, refusing to shot him, and not wanting Hank to choke him) and the beach scene. Oh my god. Erik wanting to kill every. single. human. But Charles is hit, so he drops EVERY. SINGLE. MISSILE. to run to Charles' side. And them both clearly wanting to be together, but their views on humanity and mutants was so strong, they couldn't survive it. And THAT is why this was the best romance film of the year :) VOICEOVERS: Charles: "There's so much more to you then you know." Erik: "I want you by my side."
