Easy Macrame Plant Hanger | Beginner Macrame Tutorial

DIY easy macrame plant hanger tutorial. This is a beginner macrame plant hanger project. In this macrame tutorial you will use the basic macrame knots: the spiral knot, and the square knot. It also uses another common macrame knot, the gathering knot, also known as the wrap knot. I give quick instruction on these knots in this video. However, for more in depth tutorials on the square knot, spiral knot and wrap knot, see the links below. This macrame plant hanger will look fabulous in your home, and it is also a great gift idea. Materials required for this project: A ring to hang the macrame from (I am using a 1 1/2” metal ring in the tutorial) A plant pot, the pot (in the tutorial I use a 5 ½” tall pot, the diameter at the top is 5 1/2” and it’s 4 1/2” diameter at the bottom.
