I’m a mom of three children, and in this vlog I share what it’s really like to settle on a tropical island in the Philippines. My baby daughter Alina is 8 months old, and my sons Misha and Kostya are almost 9 and 11 years old. We chose Samal Island because it is known for its beautiful beaches, peaceful lifestyle, and for being less affected by typhoons and major natural disasters than many other parts of the country. After my parents, aunt, and uncle returned to Russia, and before my husband came back from work abroad, it’s just me and the kids enjoying island life together. We start our day with authentic Filipino coffee brewed the local way, enjoy delicious tropical fruits, swim in the warm sea, and spend quality time as a family. Our daughter tries out her adorable sea float gifted by our subscribers, and my boys grill fresh local Filipino fish for dinner. We also enjoy traditional Filipino food, including delicious grilled dishes and local specialties.
