In the FGC, some things never change: 20 people will sleep in a 1 mattress hotel room, Happy Chaos/Luke/Akuma players will get undeserved wins, and we will argue over which regions are stronger than others. This was no different with NA vs. EU recently. This last year of trash talk was largely spearheaded on the American side by RobTV and Brian F, and on the European side by LoganSama, F Word, and many others. It all came to a head in the NA vs. EU 10v10 exhibition at EVO. Everyone assumed iDom would be the captain, but in a shocking twist of fate, elite player and Capcom Cup champion, MenaRD was granted the spot.
