ONBOARD VIEW OF The Conductor REVERSING the Train through traffic into The Santa Cruz Boardwalk

Today Schony747 is visiting Santa Cruz California USA and The Santa Cruz Big Trees and Pacific Railway. The tourist train runs from Felton to The Santa Cruz Boardwalk. As there is no direct loop to enable the locomotive to be shunted to the other end of the train on arrival, the train is turned on a triangle just outside The Santa Cruz Boardwalk and reversed. There is extensive street running around the boardwalk. One of the crew from the locomotive has to walk in front of the train to remove the cars from the trains path while the conductor uses the whistle at the end of the train to warn cars and pedestrians of the oncoming train.
