Shore Fishing UK | A Hard Session at a New Venue | Winchelsea Beach, East Sussex

Its a mark that I have been meaning to fish for a while now and when the opportunity come up to head down there and meet up with another couple of anglers, I jumped at the chance. Richard from ‪@saltyhooksfishinguk‬ mentioned the potential of good Bass from Winchelsea and as I hadn't got a firm plan of my next fishing session in my head I decided to meet up with him and his friend Brian on the beach and fish the incoming Surf. The conditions looked good for Bass to be feeding in the churned up water but with a tide coming in quicker than Usain Bolt there was more moving of rods than actual fishing. The evening was pleasant and the sunset spectacular but the fishing was poor. Oh well....you cant always catch!
