Alex from Birrong Automotive

We catch up with a great friend of the show and a man who’s going from strength to strength Alex from Birrong automotive. When we first checked out his Datsun in 1600 he told us we could come back when he finished off tidying up the engine. May man of his word this thing came out absolutely immaculate. We featured his son‘s car, the mighty Nissan exa turbo. And of course in between we just love catching up with Alex because he’s enthusiasm for does he’s truly inspiring. Huge things are happening at Birrong automotive. Proof that putting in the hours and producing quality work pays off. He is now working with the team from Mack racing on their giant horsepower VL ... MACK DADDY ... and more recently he was invited to go with the Mack Racing team to the states. While there Big Mack took the title of world's fastest RB powered car running Five-Sixty-Eight at Two Hundred and Sixty Miles Per hour. Congratulations to the Mack Racing team on this amazing result! Alex has been featured on Street machine, platinum racing products and of course Mac racings’ own channel … but he always has time for us at grassroots and we really appreciate that. We hope to continue to catch up with Alex as his Journey continues building the toughest and most reliable street cars in the world, and working on Mack racings world record RB’s. It’s only up from here for Alex and we wish him all the best. And of course we were absolutely pumped to hear he will be piloting this GTR when it hits the drag strip.
