Empowered

In this message from Galatians 5:16–26, Pastor David reminds us that the Christian life cannot be lived in our own strength—we need the power of the Holy Spirit. As believers walk by the Spirit, we are empowered to put sin to death, examine the fruit our lives are producing, and grow in Christlike love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. This sermon invites us to stop covering over the warning signs in our hearts and instead repent, surrender, and remember that those who belong to Christ are not hopeless or powerless in the fight against the flesh.
