Charles Villiers Stanford's "Justorum animae," recorded at the Solemn High Mass for All Saints on November 1st, 2023. Text: Justorum animae in manu Dei sunt, et non tanget illis tormentum mortis. Visi sunt oculis insipientium mori, illi autem sunt in pace. (Offertory for All Saints, from Wisdom 3:1-3.) Translation: The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and the torment of death shall not touch them. In the sight of the unwise they seemed to die, but they are at peace.
