Inside Architect Youno Kim's Largest Ever Project in SW London with a Stunning Indoor Swimming Pool
Step inside The Bosinney, architect Youno Kim's largest project to date in South West London - a double-storey extension that tripled in scope over three years, where a reflective atrium pool, a hidden bar and a showroom kitchen sit alongside a full second kitchen for catering, a dedicated wellness wing and a 13m pool angled at 45 degrees for extra length 🏡✨ The brief started small: a double-storey side extension for an office, a garage and a pool. Youno Kim worked with homeowners Naz and Alicia from stage zero all the way through to completion, and by the time it was finished the project had grown to roughly three times its original scope. Three years later, and completed just a week before filming, it's now home to the family's first proper gathering in the finished house. Inside, the ground floor is built for entertaining: a reflective pool at the centre of the living space, a fireplace raised above the dining table, a hidden bar and disco ball behind the cabinetry, and a second "dirty" kitchen scaled for large-scale hosting. Upstairs, a walk-in dressing room, a balcony overlooking the neighbouring golf course, and 52 solar panels offsetting the cost of heating the pool below. If you love ambitious extensions, homes designed entirely around how a family actually lives, and architecture that isn't afraid to triple its own brief, this one's for you.
