It wasn't just a few stacks of 500-rupee notes; a staggering 308 bundles were found. This official used to sleep on a bed stuffed with cash—notes were packed right beneath the mattress. What makes this truly shocking is that he was the very person responsible for curbing corruption. The official in question is Sunkari Narhari Rao; he serves as a Deputy Director in Hyderabad's Land and Survey Department. Today, the Anti-Corruption Branch conducted simultaneous raids at 12 locations, including Rao's residence.
