Frustrated with his “industrialized” life, he quits his job, gives away all his possessions (including his jellyfishing net, Ol’ Reliable), and runs off—pants and all—to live in the wild. Patrick and Sandy try to bring him back with a picnic, but SpongeBob resists. At Jellyfish Fields, he attempts to blend in… but the jellyfish reject him, he gets stung, and eventually he ends up in a cave covered in poison sea urchins. Realizing he made a huge mistake, SpongeBob returns home to Bikini Bottom—where his friends throw him a “Welcome Home” party.
