Sedgwick & Co Finest Leather
Huntley Sedgwick Bridle Leather Huntley Equestrian’s Bridle leather is skillfully produced by J & E Sedgwick & Co. in England, the world’s premier saddle leather tannery. Sedgwick carefully selects only the highest-quality cowhides. Sedgwick’s superior tanning methods and meticulous quality control measures make it the best bridle leather in the world. Sedgwick traditional bridle leather is an open grain leather (not sealed) and has a high shine finish due to the care and attention it receives as it works its way through the various Sedgwick processes in polishing, dying, and finishing. Sedgwick uses natural oils and fats during the leather tanning process. The Bridle leather is infused with natural cod oils and tallow fats in the fiber structure to ensure that the fibers are lubricated and do not dry. This process eliminates the need to further oil the leather before using. This preparation results in leather that is flexible, supple and resilient with a high tensile strength.
