We thought we'd just beat the rain, but in the heart of the Brazilian Amazon, things don't go as planned. On the legendary BR-319, straight through the Amazon rainforest, we discover that the rainy season has started earlier this year. We're stranded in the middle of the road, in the middle of the Amazon, along with more than forty other trucks. But that's not all we experience in this video. Our journey begins spectacularly at the Chuncho clay lick, the largest clay wall in the world, where hundreds of parrots and macaws gather in a colorful morning ritual. Then we delve deeper into history with Dr. da Borracha, where we see how rubber is still extracted and processed using traditional methods, a craft that once put the Amazon on the world map. And then, just before we're about to start our journey to Manaus, our truck throws another wrench in the works, and we end up in the garage. We are Family Everywhere. In 2021, we decided to change course and embark on a full-time world trip as a family. Since then, we've been living in our campervan and expedition truck. After three years of traveling through North America, we've finally arrived in South America.
