Nicole Kidman:"Yes" Nicole Kidman: "Julianne and also I just did a film with Renee Zellweger, we did Cold Mountain together. Renee and I spent 5 months in the mud and the dirt together and we said gosh... I've got to call her actually because it'd be quite nice to spend that night with her. It's lovely that I do actually know all of the other girls, women that I am nominated with and that's nice." Nicole Kidman: "Is it your first?" David Hare: "I didn't write it for Nicole, I wrote The Blue Room for Nicole but I wrote this without knowing who it was going to be for. I think that it has caught on in the most extraordinary way its very rare for a British film that is mostly intended at the beginning at an art house audience, for it to break out and cross over like this, it's a long time since a British film that was aimed at art houses has actually moved out like this and for us it is very exciting. Everything that has happened to it in the last few months has just been a bonus for us." Nicole Kidman: "I hope it's not over shadowed by that, I am baffled by that, but anyway." 4.
