The outstanding Venezuelan jumper Yulimar Rojas won the gold in the Women’s Triple Jump (Athletics) event of the Tokyo 2020 (in 2021) Olympic Games at the Tokyo Olympic Stadium with a massive distance of 15.67. She was followed to the podium by Patricia Mamona of Portugal and Spain's Ana Peleteiro. After breaking an Olympic record with her first jump, Rojas fouled on her penultimate effort before breaking the world record with a dramatic final go at it.
