Bottlenose dolphins in New Quay, Wales

The little town of New Quay located in West Wales is one of the best places along Cardigan Bay to see Bottlenose dolphins close to the shore from land. The dolphins come right into the bay and harbour wall making for easy and accessible viewing. Cardigan Bay is one of the best places in the whole of Europe to see Bottlenose dolphins in the wild where they belong. They can be seen all year around but sightings are more frequent in the summer months. The Bottlenose dolphins of Cardigan Bay range all the way from Barmouth down to Cardigan Island and are also known to travel across to the Isle of Man & North Wales in winter months.
