Hello! This is Bicycle Bachelor. Today, I’m unboxing the 2020 model of the Nirone 7 105 version, an entry-level line that everyone has likely heard of at least once: the "Mint" Bianchi! The Bianchi Nirone 7 was released in two versions based on the grade of the drivetrain installed: Shimano Claris and 105. The Claris version costs 760,000 won, while the 105 version costs 1,290,000 won. Although there is a significant price difference, the components have been upgraded considerably to match. The biggest difference is, quite literally, the drivetrain; the inclusion of Shimano 105 components is the key point. Regarding the fork, the Claris version uses aluminum wrapped in carbon, whereas the 105 version uses full carbon to reduce the overall weight of the bike! Furthermore, the stem, handlebars, seatpost, and saddle are all higher-grade components. I believe this provides a somewhat convincing reason to purchase a Bianchi, a brand previously ridden solely for its aesthetic value. Even so, Bianchi still offers a bit more emotional value. While price is important when choosing a bike, I believe you won't regret it if you follow the aspects you value most above all else.
