NCC Para Basic Course | Selection, Training & The Real Fear Before Jump

The NCC Para Basic Course isn't just about parachute jumping. It's a military training that tests physical fitness, discipline, body control, landing technique, mental strength, and self-confidence. This course is conducted twice a year— once in August–September and once in November. Each batch trains approximately 50 NCC cadets, including SD and SW cadets. This training is conducted at the Paratroopers Training School, Air Force Station Agra. The course lasts approximately 16 days, during which cadets are taught parachute structure, aircraft drills, body control, landing technique, jump procedures, and practical para training.
