I might do more in the future if people think it's good. The Windstar Foundation was an environmental education organization founded by John Denver and Thomas Crum in 1976 in Snowmass, Colorado. John Denver started giving concerts to the members of the foundation during the annual Windstar Symposium in the mid-80's, and this is the earliest known recording of such concerts. There are also recordings of the Windstar symposium concerts from 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1995. The Foundation closed its doors in October 2012, voted to dissolve, and sold its property for $8.5 million in early 2013. The theme of this symposium was "The Heart of Relationship", as suggested by Thomas Crum. I received this recording as June 12-14, 1987, but the concert was obviously recorded on one day. As John mentioned "a full moon out there" before singing the last song, the date of the concert should be in the middle of a lunar month. So it could only be June 12th, which was the 17th day of the 5th month that year in the lunar calendar. The three bonus tracks, including two Hank Williams covers, are from a 1987 benefit concert for Windstar. For mp3 samples from this show and a bunch of other John Denver shows, please visit my John Denver setlist page at http://ddpro.ucoz.com/setlists/johnde.... The setlists of all John Denver live recordings I know will all be posted there, along with a 90-second sample for each recording.
