Here is part 1 of this purely intuitive hard edge painting time lapse. I've been working on this painting for a while now, and decided to break the time lapse into a couple of parts because of time. This painting is purely intuitive, and has been transforming a lot as it starts to really develop. I post these time lapse videos to give some insight into my process. Instead of planning things out, I work off intuition and allow the painting to transform and develop on its own. My process for creating hard edge paintings is very technical, and focuses heavily on color and color theory.
