Unfortunately, it’s a bit more complicated than that. Inactive members remain on official membership rolls and may continue receiving visits, emails, and other forms of continuous outreach. To formally resign, members must jump through many different hoops and play a waiting game to have their resignation accepted. There is no "cancel my subscription” button online.
