Today I’m sharing my homemade recipe for Ukrainian borscht. This soup is rich, ароматный and very comforting. First, I prepare the vegetables: onion, carrots, beets, cabbage, potatoes, and bell peppers. I fry the onion, then add carrots, beets, and peppers and cook for 5–7 minutes. I add tomato paste and my spices: paprika, dried vegetables, oregano, salt, sugar, and a little hot pepper. In the ready broth, I cook the potatoes for 5–7 minutes, then add the cabbage. After 2–4 minutes, I add the frying to the soup. I let the borscht simmer for 15–20 minutes. Serve hot with sour cream and fresh bread. If you like this recipe, please give it a like.
