Highland Historic Loop | North Central Washington 1 of 2

This gorgeous scenic drive with its ghost towns, lakes, hiking, and more in North Central Washington State exceeded my expectations. I did this right before Memorial Day and quite often the dogs and I were the only ones at our stops, and the only sound was the wind through the grass & wildflower-covered hills. These little communities are remote and secluded which makes for a great wildlife viewing drive as well. I saw countless deer, turkeys and quail as well as snowshoe hares. I'll include chapters so you can check out specific things we did on this half of the adventure. 0:00 Intro 0:35 Whistler Canyon Trail 4:11 Nighthawk 4:55 Similkameen River 5:45 Molson Ghost Town 14:58 Heehee Stone 16:35 Chesaw 18:12 Bonaparte Lake Campground Music: Wildfire by Jessie Villa Teasing the King by Nathan Moore
