Exploring Laos | Motorbike Tour 🇱🇦 Vang Vieng to Kasi (from Vientiane) - Day 1

I'm in Laos🇱🇦, on the way up north towards Luang Prabang! After more than four weeks navigating the roads of northern Vietnam, my first day in Laos is a shock. The road conditions are, quite literally, on another level. Four hours into the journey, I roll into Vang Vieng. The route tests me with relentless traffic, deep potholes, and stretches of gravel—at one point, I come alarmingly close to colliding with a truck. After wandering lost by the riverside and feeling thoroughly drained, I eventually find my way back to the main road.
