Side by Side to the Line! | My Closest Finish Yet In LMU

This Le Mans Ultimate race at Fuji turned into one of the closest finishes we’ve had so far. We started P12 and finished P9, and while that might not sound like the wildest result, the race itself was all about patience, timing, and picking the right moments. We had to work for the overtakes, try different approaches, and learn when to push versus when to wait. The highlight came on the final lap, where we found ourselves battling a Mercedes right to the finish line. After catching them as they were getting back up to speed, it turned into a full drag race across the line. It was so close that we were practically identical at the flag, but our front splitter was just ahead enough to take the position. A patient race, a few lessons learned, and easily my closest finish yet in LMU.
