Pearl Pass Trail - Crested Butte to Aspen - Aug 8, 2020
Pearl Pass "Road" is a difficult offroad trail connecting Aspen and Crested Butte. It is only open if snow melts enough. Some years not at all. Usually it is open End of July through September. It is 15 Miles long, with a Peak altitude of 12,705ft. We tackled it in a 2014 Rubicon Unlimited pulling an M416 Ex-military trailer. My jeep only has 3/4" spacers front and 1/2" spacers rear(to restore ride height due to heavy bumpers not a true lift) and 34" tires.
