Dumbo, Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn Navy Yard Walking Tour In Brooklyn, NY

Original Film Date: Friday November 14th, 2025 I walked around three uptown Brooklyn neighborhoods: Dumbo, Vinegar Hill, and Brooklyn Navy Yard. Dumbo is a trendy tourist attraction in Brooklyn known for the closer view to the Manhattan Bridge, a closer view to the Brooklyn view, of course taking a closer view to see Manhattan from there in Dumbo, cobblestone streets, warehouse buildings, new luxury apartments, hip style businesses, trendy businesses, cool stores, fancy restaurants, many tourists checking this place out, the historic Jane's Carousel, some art galleries, and the local parks where you can see Manhattan's Lower East Side for a good view. Vinegar Hill is another small community compared to Dumbo with the art gallery A.I.R., nice restaurants and cafes, nice aesthetic libraries, a wedding venue like Marlow Events, the Manhattan Bridge Lookout spot, storage buildings, projects complex housing poor/lower class residents, and their corner stores/delis located on York Street. Brooklyn Navy Yard is known for Newlab, Building 92 (history museum), Wegmans, Duggal Greenhouse, Dock 72 (Luxury coworking space), Steiner Studios (similar to Kaufman-Astoria Studios in Astoria, Queens), Brooklyn Storehouse (Event venue known for concerts), and the ex-shipyard facility that turned into an office complex, similar to Industry City in Sunset Park.
