At ISC: HPE Talks All Things 'At Scale' – AI Factories, Data Centers, Top 500 HPC, Cloud

At ISC 2025 in Hamburg, we stopped by the HPE booth to catch up on the big picture of HPE’s advanced computing strategy. In this interview, we spoke with HPE’s Tami Wessley, Product Marketing Leader for HPC / AI Factories and Solutions, and Ben Bennett, Director, HPC Strategic Marketing. In our far-ranging conversation, we cover how HPE’s work at the top of the supercomputing industry – including the top three ranked supercomputers in the world – has impacted its position in the data center server market, which in turn impacts its work support AI at scale and the rapidly growing AI factory sector. We look at such topics as edge-to-core-to-cloud, rack and power infrastructure, new developments in liquid cooling (such as 100 percent fanless systems), and the company’s partnership with suppliers of GPUs and other accelerators.
