Greetings! In this video, I'm sharing a very heartfelt topic with you: my own story of wearing a headscarf... At 21, in my fourth year of university, I was able to wear a headscarf again, Alhamdulillah. However, before reaching this point, I had my first experience wearing a headscarf in middle school, my inability to continue wearing it in high school and having to take it off, my teenage years when I felt ugly, and the subsequent religious questioning. I even found myself trying to convince myself that "wearing a headscarf is not obligatory" at one point. I've structured this video not as a single piece of content, but as the first video in a series. Because there are many issues, concerns, and processes worth examining from religious, sociological, and psychological perspectives that come to mind when we embrace wearing a headscarf. I plan to release the continuation very soon. I am not a religious scholar; here I am just someone, 22 years old, sharing my own journey, the difficulties I've experienced, and my search.
