Takin' It to the Streets Bass Cover
Which Doobie you be? Happy Birthday to Tiran Porter who was born on this date in 1948! 'Takin' It to the Streets', is the title track off the album by The Doobie Brothers which came out in 1976 and featured Tiran Porter on bass. Next to Rush, I've seen The Doobie Brothers live more times than any other band. That's because they've been the opening act for so many shows that I've been to. I think I've only seen the once as a headliner. All I can say, is that I've never seen them have an off night. They always play great and their live sound is consistently incredible. There were a couple of show where I swore I was listening to a recording for the first few minutes. Does anybody remember the time Rerun got busted trying to make a bootleg recording of The Doobies? I do. • The Doobie Brothers - "Takin' It to the St... I'm playing the MBJ Double-Bit that was built by Joe Kruse of -https://www.mbjguitars.com
