The Consequences of David's Sin: Do you Confess or Hide Your Sin? The Samuel Series: Part 3.

Join Pastor Stephen Clayden in the third part of our series on the books of Samuel. Stephen takes us through the story of David's adultery with Bathsheba, and the murder of her husband Uriah which followed in an attempt to cover it up. The prophet Nathan was sent to David to expose his sin. Whether we are believers or not, sin will always have devasting impacts on our lives, especially when it is hidden rather than confessed. There were severe consequences for David's sin, and even though God forgave him, David still had to live with those consequences. The good news is that believers are spared from the eternal consequences, which is an eternity in the lake of fire. We may have to live with the earthly consequences of our sin, but Jesus suffered a sinners death in our place so that we would not have to. #jesus #samuel #david #bathsheba #uriah #nathan #sin #adultery #consequences #forgiveness #repent #psalms #jesuschrist #church #fellowship #clacton #essex #stephenclayden #breadoflife #bible #wordofgod #christian #holyspirit #god #fyp
