There Might Be Something to It... || A Heat Wave & Blueberry Biscuits || July 2026

Welcome back to the homestead! Today we're working through a North Carolina heat wave with temperatures climbing to 101°. Even in the hottest part of summer, the garden, orchard, and berry hill don't wait. Join us as we pick fresh peaches, blueberries, and wild blackberries, Andy spends time hoeing the garden and shares why he genuinely enjoys working outside, even in the heat. and I head to the kitchen to bake a batch of homemade blueberry biscuits from the berries we just picked. Life on a homestead isn't always easy, but there's something special about slowing down, working with the seasons, and making the most of what God has provided. Maybe... there really is something to it. Thank you for spending part of your day with our family.
