How to make Trini/Chinese style Patchoi Stir Fry( bok choy, pok choi, pak choi). Recipe🔻🔻🔻
INGREDIENTS 2 large bundles of patchoi/ bok choy/pok choi/ pok choi( finely chopped) 6 large pimento peppers( coarseley chopped) 1 large chive( coarsely chopped) 1 large chadon beni( coarsely chopped) 2 medium carrots( grated) 3 large tomatoes( diced) 1 (1) inch piece of ginger( minced) 5 large cloves of garlic( minced) 2 large onions( coarsely chopped) 1 tsp maggi flavour d pot or all purpose seasoning 1 tsp black pepper 2 tsp salt 4 tbsp vegetable oil SAUCE :( combine all ingredients amd set aside) -2 tbsps light soy sauce -1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce -1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp ketchup 1 tsp five spice powder 1 tsp chinese chowmien seasoning -1 tbsp sesame oil 1 tsp peanut oil METHOD: 1.) To a very hot pot add all of the vegetable oil 2.) When oil is hot add onions, stir until translusent. Add garlic and ginger. Stir quickly. 3.) Add pimentoes and green seasoning, stir for 10 seconds. Add tomatoes and half of the carrots add 1 tsp salt.Stir for 10 seconds. Add Patchoi a little at a time and stir together with veges as seen in video. 4.) When all the patchoi has been added, add 1 tsp of salt, stir and cover pot for 5 minutes. 5.) Remove pot cover stir for another 10 seconds and turn off heat. You want a crunch patchoic, not suggy. 6.)Add sauce and incorporate well. 7.) Serve over some white rice or any rice of your choice and enjoy. You can enjoy this with anything.
