This year, I saw the impact of receiving a greeting card in the mail when one of my relatives was hospitalized for awhile. After seeing how the cards brightened her day, one of my goals for 2022 is to send more cards - whether they be birthday cards, sympathy cards, get well soon cards, or thinking of you cards - thoughtful, written communication is impactful, and it’s something I want to take more advantage of.
