In May 2009, one of its Manila-bound buses was involved in a tragic crash in Santo Tomas, Batangas. Following the incident, the LTFRB suspended the company's operations for one month while its fleet underwent roadworthiness inspections. After returning to service, PP Bus Line continued operating for several more years. However, the company eventually ceased operations sometime during the mid-2010s. While its closure is widely recognized among transport enthusiasts, the exact date has not been publicly documented.
